ICAN releases its 2013 Professional Training Programme

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, ICAN has released its 2013 Professional Training Programme. The programme includes an off-shore Executive Continuing Professional Education (ECPE) to be held in Banjul, The Gambia from May 5 - 10, 2013.

Dear Sir


We hereby introduce to you, the Institute’s Executive Training programme for year 2013. The programme is broken into two main categories: The Mandatory Continuing Professional Education (MCPE) and the Executive Mandatory Continuing Professional Education (EMCPE), which are strictly for members of the Institute. The other section is the Continuing Professional Education (CPE), which is open to members and non-members alike.
We also have an offshore programme Executive Continuing Professional Education (ECPE) in Banjul, Gambia from May 5-10, 2013
It is expected that all members should obtain minimum of thirty (30) credit hours every year and any member short of the required credit hours will be sanctioned as approved by the Council.

This is necessary to enable Members meet the educational up-date requirements as laid down in the guidelines of the International Federation of Accountants for all professional accountants. Members remain current with developments in the profession through continuous training. The schedule, topics, themes and contents of the training programmes are enclosed for your consideration. The course fees per participant are as follows:

MCPE: - N25,000(Members) and N30,000 (Non-members)
EMCPE: - N80,000 (Members) and N85,000(Non-members)
CPE: - N35,000 (Members) and N40,000(Non-Members)
ECPE: - $1,500 (Members and Non-Members)
